This six month contract with a highly regarded national not-for-profit health organisation will involve indexing digital content, training and mentoring others in the optimal use of metadata tagging and maintaining the website thesaurus. The role is also responsible for acting as the liaison to SEO consultants.
Core functions
- Indexing of all digital-based content
- Implementing quality standards for indexing and maintaining web site for digital products
- Train content authors in effective use of keywords and metadata as part of the digital content authoring process.
- Liaison point between external SEO consultants and internal resources.
Essential criteria
Tertiary or industry certifications in a relevant discipline, or experience equivalent to same
Demonstrated indexing and abstracting skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain an electronic database
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet and email
Desirable
Medical environment experience
Previous experience with organic SEO for digital properties
Extensive experience with content management systems
Proficiency in MultiTes or other thesaurus construction software
